Unfortunately since the deadline was approaching, there wasn't enough time to model all the objects for the room so I began looking for free 3d models that related to concept of the room. The Armchair was found on the free 3d model site below while the other objects were used from the cinema 4d content library.

3d Character - Butler's Head
Following up from the body of the butler, the next step was to focus on the butler's head. Using the sketches of the head it was relatively easy to create the frame of the head along with all the ridges in the cheeks and jaw to show what his bone structure would be like.
After shaping the head the suppressed area where the eyes would be located was sculpted. With these in place a few sphere's were used to create the eyes and eyebrows. With those completed the head was done.

Chair Exercise Animation - Live Action reference
In order to understand the movements for my character, I recorded some live action movements as reference. Most of the reference recorded was needed for such movements as lazily sleeping in the chair, turning in the chair, sitting and getting up from the chair. These reference videos were very helpful and allowed me to focus on the important aspects of the characters movement.

3d Character - Butler Body
In keeping with the concept sketch of the butler, the 3d model was relatively easy to create. Below are several images of the characters' body. Starting with the body and moving on to the hands and feet, the slender frame of the character came together well.
The 4th and 5th images show a simple head created for the model to test the biped rig. This was done to assist in the practice using the default rig feature in softimage and enveloping the model to the rig.
After developing the character to this point, it was time to focus on the head of the butler.

Storyboard
While coming to a decision on the design of the chair, I sketched a concept of the storyboard for the chair exercise with the Butler. As seen in the sketches a butler is relaxing in his masters' chair while he is out. He is startled by his master returning and gets up quickly to meet him. As this is a sketch of the concept, there may be some changes.
